Frantoio Romano Ortice Riserva 500 ml
Ponte (BN) Italy
Located a bit east of Naples, Frantoio Romano's family has been making olive oil for 150 years. Today they are winning prizes for their superb oils from Rome to NY and beyond. Care and dedication are the norm for a family dedicated to creating the very best.
Very few olive oil producers have the interest, let alone the skill, determination and drive, that are necessary to achieve these high levels of polyphenol without sacrificing exceptional quality. I treasure every one.

The ortice olive's fine reputation goes back 1000 years. Today the Romano family has created an oil rich in hints of fresh cut grass, and tomato leaf. The oil is fresh tasting and while full and strong it is still very well balanced. It would pare well with BBQ meats, hard mature cheeses, casseroles and bean soups and salads.
